M.F. Sadykov is one of the leading artists working in the field of easel graphics, mainly in watercolor. Also refers to tempera, gouache, autolithography. Traveled a lot around the country (series of landscapes "Kizhi", 1973, "Across Armenia", 1983, "Kyrgyzstan", 1987, "Karelia", 1989, "Yenisei", 1991), traveled abroad (series with views of cities and landscapes of Poland , Italy, Austria, Germany, France).
The works are characterized by philosophical figurativeness, conciseness of the artistic form with smooth rhythms, lightened soft color palette, and harmonious proportions.

Personal exhibitions were held in Seattle, Washington (USA, both in 1985), Tashkent (1987, 1995, 1998), Bukhara (1989, 1995, 1997), Gijduvan (Uzbekistan, 1990), Helsinki (Finland, 1991, 1992), New York (USA, 1999), Brandenburg (Germany, 2000), Astana (Kazakhstan, 2006).
The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow), the State Museum of Arts (Tashkent), the Kazan National Cultural Center, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan; in public and private collections.
Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Uzbek SSR (1979), State Prize named after Khamza of the Uzbek SSR (1986). Awarded with a diploma from the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan (2002).
